Having persevered with a Julius-K9 harness for 1.5 years, I felt it had many shortcomings despite it's popularity. After some research, several people recommended DOG Copenhagen to me. Coco is an Akita, so she's a big dog at over 45kg, and when she wants to go somewhere she can pull very hard, and when she decides she doesn't want to move, she's almost impossible to budge! The DOG Copenhagen just seems to make it easier to overcome both of these problems, plus she seems to walk better when wearing it. It's also smaller than the J-K9, which means we get to see more of our beautiful dog rather than her being covered in a harness. So all in all, a perfect harness for a large dog - it gives us more control whilst allowing her more freedom, a real win:win!
Very good quality expecting this to last a long time.
Very comfortable - neither of our dogs put up any protest to wearing so must be. Also our two new additions are rescues who have never worn a collar or harness and get excited when these come out for walks.
Also would say the people at Soul Pet are very friendly and easy to deal with they get 5* too!
Very pleased with harness suits Susie very well
Thanks so much for letting us know the Dog Copenhagen harness fits your dog well and you are both pleased.
This is very well made with really good quality fittings. But my dog needs a slightly shorter connecting piece down between her legs. So the harness becomes a bit floppy. Of course if Iíd bought the smaller size I might have been ok, but then the strap would be really tight around her chest. And at £40+ a time itís to expensive to buy two sizes. Shame these arenít available in any shops! But itís still the best of the four harnesses iíve tried.
